Shopping in Linköping City

In Linköping city there are many boutiques within easy reach. The most bustling life, and most of the shops are found, on or between the three large squares. They lie like a string of pearls from west to east with Stora Torget (Main Square – Filbyter statue) and Trädgårdstorget (Graden Square) connected by "lilla sneda gatan" (little crooked street), called Tannerforsgatan, and then with a snippet of Nygatan down to Lilla Torget (Gyllentorget – Golden Square). You can park your car easily in one of the central parking garages. Train or bus passengers can walk to the city centre in just a few minutes.

Tornby, i-HUSET and IKEA

In north Linköping, one of Sweden’s largest shopping areas is located – Tornby shopping centre and i-HUSET www.i.huset.se. Here there are numerous shops with every kind of speciality. About 5 million visitors each year come here  to shop in over 60 stores for all kinds of styles and tastes. There are shops for fast everyday matters, last minute gifts, interior and IKEA, which has a direct entrance from the shopping center.
