Askeby kloster

Askeby Church is beautifully situated east of central Linköping. The original church was built together with a nunnery during the second half of the 12th century. In 1609 the church was destroyed in a fire but was rebuilt.

The Askeby Kloster association has used interactive computer visualization to recreate the 15th-century convent environment. The visualization gives visitors a great understanding of what the convent used to be like.
