In Linköping you can feel the evening and night time pulse regardless of what day of the week it is. It is found principally on Ågatan, which is known to be the street with “most going on”. But the area around Stora Torget also offers life and activity. In the summertime open-air cafés abound. On lovely warm evenings it is hard to find a seat, because everyone wants to be there, meeting friends and acquaintances and soaking up the atmosphere. Thanks to Linköping’s 26000 students, the town also has an active nightlife at student pubs, faculty bars etc. Additionally, Linköping has a wide-ranging presentation of culture, and there are many stages for different types of concert along the city streets.
