Ekenäs slott

Ekenäs Slott is a genuine fairytale castle, dating back to the 17th century. A popular jousting tournament is arranged in spring, guided tours in summer, ghost tours in autumn and christmas market in winter. Just 20 km east of Linköping.

Linköpings Slott

The oldest parts of Linköping Castle stems from the 1100s and the castle is the oldest secular building in Sweden. Large parts of Linkoping burned down in 1700, including the town hall. At that time the castle was abandoned and dilapidated and was instead being used as the city jail. The eastern parts of the castle's wings were turned into prison. The castle is today the governor's reception rooms and private home. The north wing has been rebuilt for Linköping Castle and Cathedral Museum.

Ljungs slott

Ljung Manor was built by the von Fersen family in 1774. The manor is almost unfurnished today and in summers there are guided tours in the manor.

Nya Slottet Bjärka-Säby

Nya Slottet Bjärka-Säby is a beautiful 18th-century manor house 20 km south of Linköping. There are guided tours and a café.

Stjärnorps slottsruin

Stjärnorp manor ruins are ruins of a 17th-century manor of the northern shore of Lake Roxen. The manor burned down in 1789 and the main building was never restored.

Sturefors slott

Sturefors Manor by the lake Ärlången is designed by Nicodemus Tessin the Younger and built in 1699-1705. You can only see the manor from the outside but the charming English park is open to visitors and well worth a visit.
