Long-term economy
Visit Linköping & Co works actively to ensure a resource-efficient and sustainable operation. Through various guiding documents, we set clear frameworks for economic efficiency, business ethics, and sustainable purchasing and work toward our goals for a long-term economy.
Resource-efficient operation
As a municipal company, Visit Linköping & Co has a special responsibility and expectations to use resources in a well-thought-out way. We work for sustainable growth through efficient and long-term management of our economic resources through several guiding documents that direct the work. Our goals for a resource-efficient operation include, among other things, a balanced distribution between operational branches to secure both economy and work environment, as well as achieving a long-term result of at least 0–2% of adjusted equity.
Business ethical conduct
To strengthen the company’s credibility and create increased quality in the work, it is important to act business ethically in all our contacts. We work based on an endorsement and disbursement regulatory framework that guides how different agreements and purchases should be handled. The representation policy and Linköping’s municipal policy against bribery are also part of our business ethical conduct.
Sustainable purchasing
As the company is a major procurer of goods and services, we can have a significant impact on the supply chain by setting relevant requirements on suppliers and ensuring that these requirements are met to make more sustainable purchases. For larger recurring purchases, we currently require suppliers to sign our code of conduct. One of our goals is thus to ensure compliance and follow-up on the requirement for a signed code of conduct for sustainable purchases from all recurring suppliers.
