Sustainability is an essential part of the work we do at Visit Linköping & Co, both within our own operations and in our efforts to promote Linköping as a destination. Inspiring others in the tourism industry to work more sustainably is a crucial aspect of developing Linköping as a destination, for the benefit of both people and our planet. The Sustainable Linköping project is about developing Linköping towards becoming an environmentally sustainable destination. Based on this goal, we have developed Environmental Criteria and are working with information and communication aimed at highlighting sustainable experiences in Linköping.
Our Environmental criteria
As part of the Sustainable Linköping project, Visit Linköping & Co has developed 17 Environmental Criteria with the aim of highlighting and recognizing businesses within Linköping’s tourism industry that operate in an environmentally sustainable manner.
