After many years in the restaurant industry and experience, the owners of Don Luigi want to develop the perfect pizza.
Through several trips down to Italy where ingredients have been handpicked, they also found Luigi who lives in Rome. It is in collaboration with him that they have developed their own pinsa.
Pinsa? Well, that’s how they bake in the Rome area. Luigi has more than 20 years of experience baking Pinsa Romana. According to many, especially real Romans, the Roman Pinsan is considered the ancestor of pizza. But there is a daily discussion between Romans and Neapolitans about whether it is true or not, both sides of course claim that their favorite was first.
At Don Luigi, not only is Pinsa Romana baked, but there is also a wide range of charcuterie and cheeses, as well as a shop section where you can buy handpicked goods, such as coffee, olives, chocolate, olive oils, etc.
