Ghost, one of the most beloved bands in the world, is heading out on a global tour. With over 55 dates across Europe, North America, and South America next year, this will be the band’s biggest tour to date. The tour includes two shows in Sweden—one of them in their hometown of Linköping, on May 22 at Saab Arena.
“As far as live acts go, they’re one of the best in the business” — The Los Angeles Times
This marks Ghost’s first world tour since the 2023 RE-IMPERATOUR, which was immortalized in the band’s acclaimed concert film RITE HERE RITE NOW. The upcoming tour kicks off on April 15 in Manchester and wraps up in September in Mexico City.
Since forming in Linköping over 15 years ago, Ghost has grown into one of Sweden’s—and the world’s—most cherished bands. Swedish fans last saw Ghost live in spring 2022, when Aftonbladet wrote:
“It’s a done deal – Ghost is more of an experience than a conventional rock band. Tobias Forge and his Nameless Ghouls had the Avicii Arena crowd in their grip from the very first second.”
Important Information Before the Concert
Please read the following information carefully before heading to the concert. Be prepared for queues—both on your way to the venue and at the entrance.
We recommend staying calm, soaking up the atmosphere, and getting excited for an unforgettable evening together with fellow Ghost fans.
It’s going to be a magical night in Linköping!
This show will be a phone-free experience. Use of cellphones, cameras, or recording devices will not be permitted in the performance space.
Upon arrival at the venue, all phones will be secured in Yondr pouches that will be opened at the end of the event. Guests maintain possession of their phones at all times and can access their phones throughout the event at designated Phone Use Area in the venue. All phones will be re-secured in Yondr pouches before returning to the event space.
Anyone seen using a cellphone during the performance will be escorted out of the venue. Guests are encouraged to bring a bank or credit card for purchases inside the venue. We appreciate your cooperation in creating a phone-free viewing experience.
Saab Arena enforces a strict no-bag policy, including small handbags, fanny packs, tote bags, and plastic bags. Exceptions are only made for medical reasons and require a valid medical certificate. Medically approved bags must be no larger than necessary to carry the required medicine or equipment. Over-the-counter medications are not included in this exception.
Bag storage will be available outside the arena for a fee. We recommend placing your jacket in your bag before checking it in—this way, you can avoid the cloakroom queues inside the venue. Please note that you will not be able to access your bag during the concert. All stored items can be picked up after the show.
A cloakroom for jackets will be available inside the arena for a fee. However, space is limited and lines may be long, so if possible, we recommend leaving your jacket at home.
Thank you for your understanding and for helping us ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone!
We kindly remind you that umbrellas are not allowed at the event. This is for the safety and enjoyment of all guests. Umbrellas can be difficult to manage in crowded areas and become awkward to store indoors when wet.
Our tip: Bring a rain jacket or poncho instead – they’re both allowed, easy to carry, and will keep you dry all the way to the entrance!
Thank you for helping us create a safe and enjoyable concert experience for everyone!
Please note: On the same evening as the concert, the Blodomloppet running event will also take place in Linköping. The race starts and finishes at Stångebrofältet, located right next to Saab Arena. This means the area will be very busy with lots of people moving around.
We strongly encourage you to leave your car at home and walk if possible. Parking availability will be very limited due to the large number of people in the area. In addition, several streets will be closed between 17:30 and 20:30 to allow runners to safely complete the course.
The best option is to walk from Resecentrum or from the city center via Scandic City. Look out for signs along the way guiding concert visitors to the arena.
The following streets will be closed from 17:30 to 20:30:
Drottninggatan (between Djurgårdsgatan and S:t Larsgatan)
Hamngatan (between Drottninggatan and Järnvägsgatan)
Södra Stånggatan (between Södra Oskarsgatan and Hamngatan)
You can find timetables at ostgotatrafiken.se. Most buses and trains stop at Linköping Travel Center (Resecentrum), which is the easiest place to start your walk to the arena.
There is bicycle parking available outside the arena, but due to the large number of people expected this evening, we recommend walking instead.
We’ve received some questions about face paint and masks ahead of the Ghost concert, so we’d like to clarify the guidelines for inside the arena.
Face paint is absolutely allowed—many fans love getting into the spirit of the show, and we think it’s great to see!
Masks are permitted as part of the artistic experience. However, you may be asked to temporarily remove your mask at the entrance or if requested by staff for identification purposes.
Our goal is for everyone to have an amazing concert experience while ensuring safety and compliance with venue rules—thank you for your cooperation!
Mobile tickets are used for this concert!
Your purchased tickets are saved in your account at ticketmaster.se and in the Ticketmaster app.
After your ticket is scanned at the entrance and you’ve entered the arena, your phone will be placed in a Yondr pouch. For this reason, we strongly recommend writing down your seat details (section, row, seat/standing area) on a piece of paper, as you won’t be able to access the ticket on your phone once inside.
To ensure a smooth entry for you and your group, please log into your Ticketmaster account and download your tickets to your phone well in advance—preferably at least 24 hours before the event. If everyone tries to access tickets at the entrance, the network may become overloaded, causing delays.
Please note: A booking confirmation is not a valid ticket.
If you cannot find your tickets, contact Ticketmaster in advance at +46 (0)77-170 70 70.
Also, beware of overpriced secondary ticket sites—we cannot guarantee the validity of tickets purchased from unofficial sources.
