For the acclaimed Avantgardet, 2025 was a year of strong contrasts and unexpected encounters.

From breaking attendance records at Way Out West to intimate performances at youth centers and in basement venues, the band moved effortlessly between the grand and the intimate. In parallel with an extensive touring schedule, the band’s tenth album, “Noof Belfast – Nybro City,” was also nominated for a Grammis for Rock of the Year – the band’s fourth Grammis nomination throughout their career.

Over the years, Avantgardet has established itself as one of Sweden’s best live bands, and their performances have been praised by a united group of critics, including GAFFA, who described it as “it becomes almost a religious experience” and awarded it the highest rating.

From Umeå in the north to Landskrona in the south – in February the band continues their extensive touring and will come to Linköping, specifically to Skylten, on March 21.
