Colmiea (African-rooted pop) is a seven-member band from Norrköping and Stockholm. The band is fronted by three singers backed by Fender Rhodes, synths, flute, guitar, bass, and drums.
Colmeia draws inspiration from various musical worlds such as 70s pop, Soukous guitars, Talking Heads, and West African rhythms. With Moog sounds and African percussion, the band creates a truly global musical experience. In 2019, the album “Big bird loud tweets” was released, and in 2025 the album “Cheap souvenirs.” Colmeia’s music is also featured in the documentary “Jikubali” from 2021.
The performance starts at 19:00, but Vreta Kloster Brewery opens already at 15:00. Free seating. Come in good time. Food, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options are served.
Entry is paid at the door with Swish.
