Crash Nomada has been praised for its unique blend of punk and folk music from different parts of the world.

After 15 years of playing in Sweden and Europe, they are one of the more established bands in the folk punk genre and have a solid reputation as a danceable and explosive live act. They have been compared to bands like Gogol Bordello, Levellers, and Mano Negra, but they also carry a post-punk darkness that recalls bands like Imperiet and New Model Army. However, it is a darkness filled with hope, warmth, and community.

With roots in Sweden and a heart in the whole world, they move seamlessly between crust punk, ballads, folk metal, and ’80s-scented post-punk, but above all, they land in their danceable and pumping folk punk. The music is fueled by virtuoso violin and accordion drive, a pulsating rhythm section, and raw organic electric guitar. It is heavy, mysterious, groovy, and danceable. It is music that unites and purifies, music filled with hope, community, catharsis, and raw energy. The lyrics cut straight through the present and connect to our history. Inspiring wisdom from subversive and spiritual underground traditions is mixed with critique of civilization and social engagement.

Prepare for an electrified and danceable folk punk outburst from one of Sweden’s wildest live bands.

The concert starts at 19:00 but Vreta Kloster Brewery opens as early as 15:00. Free seating. Arrive in good time. Food, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options are served.
