Join us in Katthult in Småland and experience one of Sweden’s most beloved stories – Emil i Lönneberga! A lively and heartwarming children’s musical full of laughter, music, mischief, and pranks that only Emil can cause. Here you will meet Emil, Ida, Alfred, and Lina in a colorful performance that brims with song and joy.
The audience can enjoy classic songs like ”Fattig bonddräng”, ”Varför är jag inte vacker?”, ”Idas sommarvisa” and many more – all performed with warmth, humor, and musical joy. The musical numbers interweave with Emil’s crazy antics and the family’s life on the farm, where love, care, and the charm of small pranks shine through.
Direction and production are by Göran Lohne – well-known for his grand and lively family performances. Under his skilled direction, the audience is treated to a wonderful set design, filled with details, color, and imagination, which takes both children and adults right into Astrid Lindgren’s magical world.
Behind the production is Event o Sånt, which has previously created successes with, among others, ”Pippi på de sju haven”, ”Karlsson på Taket”, ”Folk och rövare i Kamomilla stad”, ”Karius och Baktus” and ”Klas Klättermus”, and many more over the past 25 years – all praised by both audience and press. Now it’s time for yet another unforgettable experience for the whole family.
So bring along the children, grandpa, grandma, and the neighbor on a truly mischievous adventure – where laughter echoes, music sings in the heart, and Emil’s antics make the whole audience smile.

The bag ban no longer applies to Konsert & Kongress, Saab Arena, and Stångebrofältet.
However, we recommend bringing a smaller bag – preferably no larger than 40 x 40 x 20 cm – to facilitate entry and storage. Bags may be searched at the entrance.

Linköping Concert & Congress is centrally located in Linköping, a short walk from the Travel Center. You can easily and environmentally friendly get here by bus or commuter train, see www.ostgotatrafiken.se www.ostgotatrafiken.se for timetables. From many parts of the city, it is also within walking distance to us.
