The successful group GRYMLINGS is back!
Grymlings, the successful Swedish group, is making a sensational comeback 35 years after their breakthrough. The group was formed by rock icon Mikael Rickfors and was named after his farm on Gotland.

“It feels fantastic and exciting to go out and play these songs again, it is something that I am really looking forward to. It is also a way for us to remember and pay tribute to our deceased members Magnus Lindberg and Pugh Rogefeldt. For me personally, it feels a little extra in the heart that the premiere will take place precisely on Gotland, which has meant so much to me and the others in Grymlings,” says Mikael Rickfors, singer, songwriter, and founder of Grymlings.

Grymlings’ big breakthrough was with the song “Mitt bästa för dig,” which was on Svensktoppen for 23 weeks, 14 of which were at number one. The band’s second single, “Där gullvivan blommar,” also became a big hit and contributed to the self-titled debut album selling an impressive 170,000 copies. In 1992, the follow-up Grymlings II was released, and it also became a great success with high positions on the album charts. The songs “En glädjesång” and “Väntar på en vän” made it onto Svensktoppen.

In the first lineup of Grymlings were Pugh Rogefeldt, Göran Lagerberg, and Magnus Lindberg. As the group now hits the road again, both Rogefeldt and Lindberg have long passed away, and they are replaced by the group’s producer Lasse Lindbom and the Skåne rock legend Dan Hylander. On the new tour, which has been named “Det bästa för dig,” the members of Grymlings will not only perform the band’s most beloved songs but also their greatest hits as solo artists. This includes classics such as Rickfors’ “Vingar,” “När stormen river öppet hav,” Hylander’s “Svart kaffe,” “Farväl till Katalonien,” and “Skuggor i skymningen,” Lagerberg’s “Every Raindrop Means a Lot” (from his time in Tages) as well as Lindbom’s “Kom och värm dej” and “Tänd ett ljus.”
