HURULA + NEKTAR TO LINKÖPING

For more than a decade, Robert Hurula has delivered his unfiltered social realism with absolute necessity and acute relevance. Hurula has so far released five critically acclaimed studio albums: Vi är människorna våra föräldrar varnade oss (2014), Vapen till dom hopplösa (2016), Klass (2019), Jehova (2020), and Ingen är kär i år och andra sånger (2022). In addition, he has released the live album På en grusbelagd parkeringsplats (Live) and two EPs Betongbarn (2014) and Oss är allt (2018).

In recent years, the successes and praises have been many. Hurula has been awarded Grammis for Rock of the Year three years in a row, named one of Sweden’s foremost live acts, nominated several times for both P3 Guld and Grammisgalan, and praised for his participation in Sommar i P1 (2023).

On his sixth studio album EXISTENS, Hurula depicts self-experienced, dark, and social-realistic stories. Once again, he reminds us why his music continues to touch and that he remains one of the country’s most important storytellers. EXISTENS was recorded live at Redmount Studios in Stockholm together with producer Niklas Berglöf.

This fall, Hurula embarks on an extensive tour in Scandinavia. It will be his first own tour since 2022 and a long-awaited additional chance to see him after the acclaimed performance at Way Out West a few weeks ago.

Support this evening is Nektar.

NEKTAR
With the debut album Magnolia and singles such as Sitt Ner and Älskar Dig, Nektar has quickly established itself as one of Sweden’s most acclaimed and talked-about bands. They have rapidly become a natural part of the Swedish indie rock scene and built up a fanbase with a dedication and loyalty rarely seen today. Since its inception in early 2024, the Gothenburg band has sold out concerts across the country, been named Breakthrough of the Year by Gaffa, and received love from Fredrik Strage – both in Nyhetsmorgon and in his podcast “Hemma Hos Strage”.

2025 began with a sold-out spring tour followed by a festival summer where the band, among other things, got to close this year’s edition of Stay Out West with a headline slot at Pustervik. Alongside performances, Nektar has been in the studio recording new material with the first taste released the same weekend as Way Out West in the form of the single ‘Faller’.
