“Between Us” – there is more than one way to look back on Magnus Betnér’s career. On one side a truth-teller, a voice of reason and provocatively honest – according to many. On the other side raw, self-exposing and according to some – honestly downright provocative. Few have stirred up more emotions than Magnus Betnér has during his many rounds around Sweden.
If it was “Nothing is Sacred”, “Speech to the Nation” and “Word of Life” that created the persona Magnus Betnér, then in 2026 it is time to get to know Magnus. All in a funny, revealing stand-up show where a (despite all evidence to the contrary) aging comedian wants to show a new side of himself. Or perhaps more like a photo with more colors than the black and white picture many have.
“Between Us” is more than a title for a show – it is an invisible contract signed between Magnus Betnér and his audience for more than 20 years. Not because what is said is necessarily any secrets, but it is an outstretched hand and a proof of authenticity that what we experience here tonight, is just for us. For when Magnus for the first time in over a decade does a major tour – alone on the poster – it will be special.
It’s the story of the diagnosed child Magnus and about the puzzle-solving two-child father Betnér and everything he, around fifty, holds dear. And a little about what he marvels at.
The past just over ten years, Magnus Betnér has toured as part of various constellations and in between plodded around with the ever-living Work in progress tour. Where some might have felt why change a winning concept, Magnus wants to dig deeper to try to find the famous core.
There will be traces of ADHD, there may be fragments of social analysis. One or another celebrity might have to be dealt with. Fans will recognize themselves, fans will be surprised.

The bag ban no longer applies to Konsert & Kongress, Saab Arena, and Stångebrofältet.
However, we recommend bringing a smaller bag – preferably no larger than 40 x 40 x 20 cm – to facilitate entry and storage. Bags may be searched at the entrance.

Linköping Concert & Congress is centrally located in Linköping, a short walk from the Travel Center. From many parts of the city, it is also within walking distance to us.
