On August 5, 1776, a Shakespeare play was performed for the first time in the Nordic countries, and it happened in Östergötland! More precisely in Norrköping. The play was Romeo and Juliet.
During the Nordic 250th anniversary, we can see the play on two different stages in Östergötland: Shakespearefabriken in Vadstena this summer and at Östgötateatern this fall.
Meet the directors behind the different productions. What differentiates and what unites? What makes the play immortal?
