Jealousy and hatred lead to sudden death in the tragic opera Bajazzo by Ruggiero Leoncavallo. The story is about a traveling theater company. Its leader Canio is constantly jealous of his wife Nedda. Many will surely recognize Canio’s great aria Vesti la gioubba (Laugh Bajazzo). When it is time to perform the company’s show, Canio, in the guise of Bajazzo, breaks down. In blind rage, he gives Nedda the choice of naming her lover or death. Nedda refuses, and Canio stabs her and her lover who tries to rescue her. He is arrested immediately and shouts the famous words to the audience: La commedia è finita! (The comedy is over).

However, we recommend bringing a smaller bag – preferably no larger than 40 x 40 x 20 cm – to facilitate entry and storage. Bags may be searched at the entrance.

Linköping Concert & Congress is centrally located in Linköping, a short walk from the Travel Center. From many parts of the city, it is also within walking distance to us.
