An unforgettable journey through Swedish music history
ANDREAS JOHNSON, ANNA-LOTTA LARSSON, MIKAEL NORD ANDERSSON, MARTIN HANSEN, JOHNNY GRIPARIC, MATS PERSSON, PATRIK SVEDBERG
Meet Krångs Kapell this spring as they hit the road and pay tribute to Den Svenska Sångboken
They have, among other things, arranged Scorpions’ world-famous MTV Unplugged show in Athens, created music for the soundtrack for Spiderman II, and produced Björn Skifs’ immortal classic “Håll Mitt Hjärta”. The producer duo Mikael Nord Andersson and Martin Hansen have for many years left their mark on both the Swedish and international music scenes. Now they are back, this time as producers for Den Svenska Sångboken. But the duo doesn’t stop there. With the tour, they also present their new band, Krångs Kapell, consisting of some of the country’s most accomplished musicians.
Together with the artists Anna-Lotta Larsson and Andreas Johnson, they offer the audience an unforgettable musical journey through Swedish music history.
• Andreas Johnson – with his song “Glorious,” Andreas became known not only in Sweden but in large parts of the world. The song became a huge hit when it was released in 1999. Since then, he has been one of our most beloved artists. Andreas has participated in several melodifestivals, Digiloo tours, and had many hits over the years.
• Anna-Lotta Larsson – thirty-nine years have passed since the big breakthrough, when Anna-Lotta debuted as Anna in Värmlänningarna. Since then, her career has continued with theater, film, and above all music – both as a solo artist and in collaborations with, among others, Björn Skifs, Ronny Eriksson, Johan Stengård, and Göran Fristorp.
• Mikael Nord Andersson – one of Sweden’s most acclaimed guitarists, as well as a singer, producer, and songwriter. He has toured the world with Roxette and produced artists such as Scorpions, The Rasmus, and Björn Skifs. Through his long and solid career, he has also played with many of Sweden’s leading artists, including Sven-Ingvars and Eva Dahlgren.
• Martin Hansen – award-winning producer, guitarist, singer, and songwriter, with an impressive track record on both the international and Swedish music scene. Has created hits with world artists like Scorpions, The Rasmus, and most recently Daniel Powter, as well as with some of Sweden’s most beloved names, including Peter LeMarc, Björn Skifs, and Lasse Berghagen.
• Johnny Griparic – the world-renowned bassist from Guns N’ Roses guitarist Slash’s band, as well as collaborations with, among others, Carole King, Richie Sambora, and Eagles members. Johnny has lived in Los Angeles for over 30 years and has been a highly sought-after bassist among world stars in the U.S. Now the Jönköping native is back in Sweden, and this will be an entirely new journey for him.
• Mats Persson – Sweden’s legendary drummer who has played with Roxette, Ratata, Tommy Körberg, Sven-Bertil Taube, and countless others. An incredibly impressive range and experience.
• Patrik Svedberg – versatile keyboardist, pianist, flutist, and arranger who has toured with Peter Jöback, Tommy Körberg, Kalle Moraeus, Helen Sjöholm, Cajsa-Stina Åkerström, and many more.??
An evening you don’t want to miss – a tribute to Swedish music, its heroes, and the unforgettable songs that have shaped generations.
