In the museum are collected tools, equipment, drawings, sketches, and photographs from the construction of Kinda Kanal.

The canal was completed in 1871 and then Kindabygden was connected with Linköping and Göta Kanal and further out to the coast and the world. This story is told in the museum and it is well worth a visit. Here you also have the opportunity to have a cup of coffee while watching boats lock through the canal.
