Smedstad Ridsportcenter

Smedstad Ridsportcenter was completed in July 2016 and is one of Sweden’s most modern equestrian facilities. Smedstad Ridsportcenter is located in the scenic Tinnerö Oak Landscape on the city outskirts of Linköping.

The facility houses a riding school and also serves as a meeting place and knowledge center for horse and riding enthusiasts throughout the region.

At Smedstad Ridsportcenter, we create unique conditions to support and develop equestrian sports for children, young people, and adults—both for amateurs and elite. Based on our core values, we offer children, young people, and adults a stimulating, inclusive, and developing riding education. With experienced riding instructors, well-trained horses, and an inspiring environment, you get a riding education that we are all proud of.

At Smedstad, in addition to the riding school, we also offer leisure activities for middle school children, daily activities for people within LSS, para-riding, conferences, and a café. On weekends, the facility is filled with equestrian competitions and events of various kinds.
