Nya Slottet Bjärka-Säby

The New Castle at Bjärka-Säby, surrounded by beautiful scenic landscapes, is open year-round for those seeking tranquility, retreat, study, or group conversations. It hosts seminars, conferences, and various camp activities.

During summer, the Castle Café is open to the public, offering historical tours and concerts in the Rotunda. The Chapel and Upper Hall contribute to the serene atmosphere, serving as a spiritual oasis.

Continuing its legacy as a spiritual and cultural hub, with an ecumenical approach, the New Castle was donated to the Linköping Pentecostal Church by the Ekman family in 1980.

‘Pray and work. Be, and be not seen.’ These mottos, illuminated through stained glass in the Castle Café, reflect Oscar Ekman’s legacy. They shaped an open and generous environment in Bjärka-Säby during the early 20th century, enriching the lives of many.
