Across the river – Songs of Bruce Springsteen

In Across the River, singer-songwriter Martin Lönegren takes the audience on a journey through Bruce Springsteen’s song treasure – from the great classics to the more subdued and narrative songs.

The performance is performed solo with vocals, acoustic guitar, and harmonica and is structured in two acts. The music is at the center, but between the songs, stories and contexts from different parts of Springsteen’s career are woven in, giving the songs additional depth. The repertoire includes music from several decades of Springsteen’s career, with songs such as The River, Thunder Road, Born to Run, Atlantic City, I’m on Fire, and The Rising. Across the River is an intimate and stripped-down concert experience for both dedicated Springsteen listeners and those who simply appreciate strong songs, storytelling, and acoustic live music.

Martin Lönegren is a Swedish singer-songwriter within americana, roots, and country and has performed nearly 200 concerts across Sweden in recent years. Across the River tours in several Swedish locations during the fall and winter of 2026.
