Armed Forces Air Days 2026

In 2026, the Air Force will be 100 years old, which will be celebrated with several events throughout the year. On August 22-23, the celebration will culminate with the Anniversary Air Show Days at Malmen in Linköping.

The Anniversary Air Show Days will be the highlight of the Air Force’s extensive 100th-anniversary celebration taking place throughout 2026. After different parts of the country have marked the anniversary, you are welcome to Malmen in Linköping, where the aviation baron Carl Cederström started a flight school over a hundred years ago and where the foundation of the Swedish Air Force was laid.

The event will feature both air and ground exhibitions from both the military and civilian defense. Learn more about the work being done to defend Sweden’s airspace from violations and your freedom to live as you choose. Also take the chance to meet soldiers, pilots, technicians, and other personnel from the Armed Forces.

It will be two action-packed days with exciting activities for the whole family. Free entry!

The Anniversary Air Show Days will be held over two days with the same program on both days. The flight program will be conducted in the morning and afternoon, with a noise break in the middle of the day.

The days will feature flight demonstrations with both Swedish and international aircraft.
