With roots deeply anchored in the Scottish and Irish folk music tradition, Dallahan takes its audience on an explosive journey through the rhythms of the world. The internationally acclaimed band has toured in over 20 countries and has been nominated multiple times for “Folk Band of the Year”. With an innovative expression where tradition meets global influences, they are now making their long-awaited Swedish debut.
Since their inception in 2014, Jack Badcock (guitar and vocals), Ciaran Ryan (banjo, mandolin, and fiddle), Andrew Waite (accordion), and Benedict Morris (fiddle) have toured in 23 countries and been nominated five times for “Folk Band of the Year” (2016, 2019, 2022, 2023, 2025). They have also performed on major international stages such as Milwaukee Irish Fest, Celtic Connections, Tønder Festival, Festival Dranouter, and Woodford Folk Festival.
After a decade together, Dallahan is now a well-established name on the folk and world music scene. The band continues to develop its sound with each album, something that is clearly heard on their latest studio album “Speak of the Devil” from 2023. In May 2026, they will come to Sweden for the first time with their energetic live show.
