Here-Us-Now second is a tribute to the dance’s ability to preserve, convey, and transform. A unique opportunity to experience Swedish dance history in motion, through an artistry characterized by precision and a deep sensitivity to the stories of the body.
On stage, works from the mid-1990s to today are gathered in a retrospective whole, in a new embodiment with Franzén himself and parts of the original ensemble on stage. Together they embody a living dance archive where movements are not only reproduced but are remembered, translated, and reinterpreted in the present.
Through the meeting between photographic material and living bodies, over 30 years of artistic work are summarized.
