Welcome to an intimate performance with Kajsa Grytt, one of the country’s most significant rock artists ever.

Kajsa is also the country’s uncrowned “punk queen” alongside “punk king” Thåström, although neither of them wants to be either queen or king!

Kajsa welcomes you with the following words:

“I, Kajsa Grytt, have been a rocker all my life. Always said, “I will never sit down on stage.” I wanted a crowd, spectacular lights, and a band. Or stand with a pianist like a dramatic femme fatale. But now something has happened, maybe I’ve gotten old and calm, or maybe I just know better. I see the romance in sitting on a high stool in a simple spotlight, preferably close to the audience, who might be sitting around tables with a drink or slow-dancing to my longing songs. I sing from my entire career, from Tant Strul, via Kajsa & Malena, to the prison songs and A Woman Under the Influence. And actually, some new things, written just for this feeling. Alone on a stool with a warm electric guitar in my lap.”
