This day is also extra special as it coincides with the national event Tusen Trädgårdar, which means that gardens across the country are opened up. Take the opportunity to find your own leafy spot or nook in the historic gardens of Gamla Linköping.

The best of all? All gardens in Gamla Linköping are open to the public, and all outdoor furniture in the gardens is completely free to borrow. Of course, you can just as well roll out a classic picnic blanket on the grass.
