We follow Daniel Hillard – a newly divorced and unemployed actor, who in a desperate attempt to be close to his children steps into the role of the older, female housekeeper Mrs. Doubtfire. When he succeeds in getting a job with his ex-wife Miranda, a double life filled with laughter, emotions, and chaotic entanglements begins.
