Nour El Refai Glows in the dark

It has been 20 years since Nour El Refai toured with her first self-written show “Almost like boys”, today she is seen as one of Sweden’s sharpest and most skilled comedians. In the fall of 2026 and spring of 2027, Nour will finally go on a Sweden tour again with her new show “Nour El Refai – Glows in the dark”.

It will be a stand-up about suddenly being single, living with a spiky lizard, and suffering from unrequited love – for oneself. On November 28, Nour will bring her stand-up to Östgötateatern in Linköping!

– I am whiny and sad and I have opinions about everything! Everything! Welcome to my stand-up show. It’s about suddenly being single and living with a spiky lizard and how I suffer from unrequited love for myself, says Nour El Refai about “Glows in the dark”.

Over the last 20 years, Nour has established herself as one of Sweden’s leading comedians. In addition to performing stand-up at clubs across the country, she has done several extensive tours with self-written comedy shows, hosted “Melodifestivalen” and “Landet lyckopiller”, participated in TV shows like “Parlamentet” and “Masked Singer Sverige”, acted in TV series like “Bonusfamiljen” and “Trolltider”, and directed the youth series “Skitsamma”. On stage, we have also seen her in theater productions like “Karlsson on the Roof”, “Amadeus”, and “Grease”.

Nour El Refai is known for her razor-sharp humor and eye for comedic absurdities. During the last tour with “Nour El Refai says jokes in about 75 minutes” she was called “one of our best comedians” (Jönköpings-Posten), “skilled performer” (UNT) and the show was described as “a composition, a well-put-together work of considerable height” (DN).
