Old Linköping FolkFestival

Welcome to this year’s news – Gamla Linköping FolkFestival! The festival offers a vibrant mix of concerts, folk music, folk dance, hands-on activities, and local cultural actors.

Concerts at the Folkparksteatern (Ticket required)
At the Folkparksteatern, we organize four different performances with some of the country’s most appreciated names in the genre:

• National fiddler Åsa Jinder
• Triakel
• Grammis award-winning Lisas
• Kolonien

Entrance to the Folkparksteatern requires a ticket. The ticket is valid for all four concerts. The children’s ticket is valid for children between 0-13 years.

Festival area with free entrance (free)
Admission is free in the rest of the festival area around Gamla Linköping, and here visitors can discover both established names and new talents, while children and adults have the opportunity to try instruments themselves, meet artisans, and experience the Swedish folk music tradition up close.

Additionally, the festival area offers market stalls, workshops in handicrafts, demonstrations in folk dance, and spontaneous music encounters in the beautiful gardens and alleys. Whether you are a devoted folk music lover or just curious, there is something to discover!
