Old Linköping FolkFestival

Welcome to this year’s news – Gamla Linköping FolkFestival! The festival offers a lively mix of concerts, folk music, folk dance, try-out activities, and local cultural actors.

Concerts at Folkparksteatern (Ticket required)
At Folkparksteatern, we arrange four different performances with some of the country’s most appreciated names in the genre:

• Riksspelman Åsa Jinder
• Triakel
• Grammis-awarded Lisas
• Kolonien

Admission to Folkparksteatern requires a ticket. The ticket is valid for all four concerts.

Festival area with free entry (free)
In the rest of the festival area around Gamla Linköping, entry is free, and here visitors can discover both established names and new talents, while children and adults have the opportunity to try instruments, meet craftsmen, and experience the Swedish folk music tradition up close.

Additionally, the festival area offers market stalls, workshops in handicrafts, demonstrations of folk dance, and spontaneous music meetings in the beautiful gardens and alleys. Whether you’re a dedicated folk music lover or just curious, there’s something to discover!
