Old Linköping FolkFestival

Welcome to this year’s news – Gamla Linköping FolkFestival! The festival offers a vibrant mix of concerts, folk music, folk dance, try-out activities, and local cultural actors.

Concerts at the Folkpark Theatre (Ticket Required)
At the Folkpark Theatre, we organize four different performances with some of the country’s most appreciated names in the genre:

National fiddler Åsa Jinder
Triakel
Grammy-awarded Lisas
Kolonien

Admission to the Folkpark Theatre requires a ticket. The ticket is valid for all four concerts. The child ticket applies to children between 0-13 years.

Festival area with free entrance (free)
In the rest of the festival area around Gamla Linköping, there is free entrance, and here visitors can discover both established names and new talents, while children and adults get the opportunity to try instruments themselves, meet craftsmen, and experience the Swedish folk music tradition up close.

Moreover, in the festival area awaits market stalls, handicraft workshops, folk dance performances, and spontaneous music meetings in the beautiful gardens and alleys. Whether you are a devoted folk music lover or just curious, there is something to discover!
