Summary of the exhibitions:
After a year largely devoted to photography, we now turn our attention to other materials, techniques, and artistic expressions. Some noted Östgöta artists meet an international outlook towards Latvia.

Salongerier – three Linköping artists
At last year’s Salong Östergötland, three artists were particularly noted by the jury: Randi Leirnes, Martijn van den Bosch, and Johanna Hoffsten. Now we let these three artists have an entire room for themselves. Three distinct individual artists forming a whole – without losing their distinctiveness.

A Life in Self-Portraits – Annika Svahnberg
For several decades, Annika has painted self-portraits. In joy and sorrow. As a 25-year-old and as a 60-year-old. In rise, fortune, success, and adversity. A kind of autobiography in the form of painting.

35 Years of Art from Riga
Since 1991, Rotary in Östergötland, in collaboration with the Latvian Academy of Arts in Riga, has annually selected and purchased works by one of the academy’s scholarship recipients – 35 years of art from one of the Baltic’s most important art academies. Here, one can follow both individual artists and parts of the cultural and historical development in modern Latvia. This year’s scholarship recipient, Anastasija Sirotska, participates in the opening.
