Social sustainability is an integrated part of our operations, both at Linköping Konsert & Kongress and within our company Visit Linköping & Co. We actively work to create an inclusive, safe, and engaging work environment for our staff, while also offering an accessible and welcoming place for our visitors.

Education and activities

To promote social sustainability, we involve our staff in sustainability efforts in various ways. We regularly organize training sessions and activities to increase awareness and engagement around different sustainability issues. We also have a dedicated sustainability group with representatives from all departments, ensuring that sustainability information and ideas are spread and integrated throughout the organization.

An inclusive work environment

We constantly strive to be a workplace free from bullying and discrimination and that everyone applying for a job with us is treated equally. We are also proud to be a major employer for young people in Linköping, where many gain their first work experience with us.

The Linköping Konsert & Kongress facility is also secure for menstruation, which means that there are Menstruation Secure boxes with menstrual protection available in all bathrooms.

Accessibility adaptation

For us, it is important that all visitors, regardless of functional variation, feel welcome and have the opportunity to participate in our events. Our facility is therefore adapted for accessibility in several ways. We have wheelchair spaces for our events, offer hearing loops in most venues, disabled parking, accessible toilets, as well as elevators and ramps that make it easier to navigate the building.
