East Sweden Convention Bureau is a non-profit organization with the purpose of facilitating for you as a researcher or meeting planner who wants to organize meetings in the region. Whether your meeting is physical, digital, or a hybrid variant, we can help you. Since its inception in 2012, East Sweden Convention Bureau has contributed to over a hundred large and small meetings in the region.

East Sweden Convention Bureau is unique as a convention bureau by representing two cities, Norrköping and Linköping, which together form East Sweden. East Sweden has a perfect location, right between Stockholm, Gothenburg, and Malmö. Here, trains, flights, and highways meet, and the region attracts visitors, new residents, companies, and investors from both Sweden and abroad. With Linköping and Norrköping, there is the range a big city requires, while the cities are small enough to feel that everything needed is within easy reach.

East Sweden Convention Bureau can assist you with the following

• Compile the meeting application and associated offer, a so-called bid.
• Provisionally book meeting venues and accommodation.
• Arrange study visits and fam trips for the meeting planner.
• Present ideas for surrounding events in the region with social and tourist elements.
• Provide presentation and marketing material about the meeting region.
• Provide contacts within the municipality, county council, business community, and university.
• Provide contacts with professional actors who help arrange the meeting itself and other important services such as transport, gifts, speakers, dinners, etc.
• Provide support throughout the planning process
• Give presentations for organizing committees.
