Musikhjälpen in Linköping 2026
Musikhjälpen is finally back in Linköping. In 2026, Stora Torget in Linköping will be filled with audience, artists, love, and engagement. The whole of Linköping should contribute!
Do you remember 2015 when Musikhjälpen’s cage was at Stora Torget, it was full of happy people and the tones of Stad i Ljus with Rickard Söderberg and all the students at Linköping University filled the entire city?
Now it is confirmed that P3’s and SVT’s annual audience favorite Musikhjälpen is returning to Linköping this year. From November 30 to December 6, Stora Torger will be transformed into the Square of Love when Musikhjälpen’s glass cage takes its place.
During Musikhjälpen week, Stora Torget becomes the center for thousands of people who engage in Radiohjälpen’s annual fundraiser, with live music from 50 of Sweden’s best artists and lots of famous guests – all in a 144-hour long live broadcast on P3 and SVT Play.
Musikhjälpen is a program on P3 and SVT that for one week in December each year engages
Sweden in Radiohjälpen’s fundraising for work against a human disaster. Three well-known
hosts are locked in a glass cage on a square to broadcast radio and TV around the clock for 144 hours. Sweden’s best artists, well-known profiles, and engaged individuals come together to spread knowledge, raise money, and support people fighting for the right to a dignified life.
In 2025, the theme was “All children have the right to go to school.” Linnea Wikblad, Assia Dahir, and
Hampus Hedström hosted when the audience initiated 1.2 million engagements and
raised nearly 75 million.
Musikhjälpen is broadcast in its entirety on P3 Sveriges Radio and SVT Play. Large parts are also broadcast on SVT2 and SVT24.
Sveriges Radio and SVT are organizing in collaboration with the host city. In Linköping, it is Visit Linköping & Co that will project lead the event and collaborate with a number of local actors on the implementation.
This year’s theme will be announced in October and the program leaders, square reporter, and traveling
reporter in November. At the end of November, the entire schedule will be presented. So stay tuned here!

This is how it looked at Stora torget during Musikhjälpen 2015.
The whole of Linköping should join!
We know that there are plenty of creative, smart, inventive, and fun people in Linköping! And of course, we want as many people as possible to get involved in some way during the Musikhjälpen week and raise a lot of money for a good cause.
It doesn’t matter if you’re an individual crafting, an association competing, or a company with cool prizes. Everyone should join in!

Until then, feel free to think about your own chamber if you have any fun ideas you want to realize during the week, how you think Stora torget should be decorated, or if you have suggestions for the program’s content. Soon, an email address will also be available where you can send all thoughts, questions, and ideas regarding Musikhjälpen!
