Fenomenmagasinet

Currently, parts of the operation are on hold as the construction of the future Fenomenmagasinet is underway. A new, specially designed building is planned to be ready for inauguration during the latter half of 2025.

The Future Fenomenmagasinet is located at Valla Farm, within the rural section of the open-air museum Old Linköping, near Lill-Valla playground and Linköping University.”

Until the inauguration, the Fenomenmagasinet offers mobile activities for schools and the public. The van is packed with exciting phenomena, and we visit students at schools, attendees at Linköping University, and visitors at libraries, museums, and cultural centers. Keep an eye on our social media and website for current activities.

Fenomenmagasinet is a regional science center, a meeting place for people regardless of who they are, where they come from, or their educational level. Here, you’ll experience a familiar, pleasant, and inspiring environment infused with learning, playfulness, curiosity, and creativity. Around 40,000 people, both the public and school groups, visit the Phenomenon Museum each year. Our phenomenon exhibition consists of over 200 experience stations and an animal section featuring saltwater fish, corals, reptiles, frogs, and insects.
