Linköping canal district

Linköping’s canal district stretches from Tullbron to Drottningbron, and here you will find several popular restaurants, bars, cafes, and accommodations. By the water, you will also find several jetties and benches perfect for a break or a picnic, where many Linköping residents enjoy sunny days. At Mickeys Strandfik, you can also rent kayaks, pedal boats, and electric boats to experience Linköping’s canal district from the water.

Stångåstråket

At Linköping’s canal district, Stångåstråket also passes by, stretching from Lake Roxen down to Landeryd. Along this 14-kilometer stretch, you will pass four of the Kinda Canal’s locks, swimming areas, marinas, parks, cafes and restaurants, outdoor areas, and hiking trails. Everything is easy to discover and experience, no matter how you choose to travel.

For those arriving with their own boat to the canal district, it is possible to stay with the boat in the guest harbor for 225 kr/night.
