At Tuna Kungsgård, agriculture, local raw materials, and rich history meet.
Tuna Kungsgård is a historic estate with roots from the Middle Ages, which over time has served as both a royal estate for Gustav Vasa and a colonel’s residence. Today, the farm is leased and run by Ulrika and Magnus Eriksson, and it produces lamb meat and skins, as well as a farm shop named Magasinet. In the farm shop, the farm’s own sheep products are offered along with carefully selected, primarily locally produced foods from local suppliers.
In addition to the shop, seasonal activities are offered, such as self-picking of corn, a pumpkin carriage, and activities for children as well as tractor and wagon tours. Visitors also have the opportunity to explore the exterior of the old Kungsgård and learn about the farm’s exciting history via information from the National Property Board, with public tours on National Day.
