Skådebanan Östergötland

Gallery Skådebanan is located in one of the beautiful entrance villas of Linköping’s Trädgårdsföreningen. We present a minimum of 8 exhibitions annually, characterized by high-quality and interesting contemporary art.

Our mission emphasizes diversity and inclusivity, showcasing a range of art forms including painting, graphics, textiles, sculpture, photography, glass, ceramics, installations, and conceptual displays. We aim to cover artists starting their career to those with lifelong achievements.

We welcome visitors of all ages, backgrounds, and social statuses to the gallery. Additionally, our “Little Gallery” occasionally features collaborative projects with schools and various daily activities.

We offer an InfoPoint providing local tourist information. Skådebanan Östergötland is a non-profit cultural association devoted to making art and culture accessible to all, fostering interest in arts and culture. Beyond the gallery, we undertake diverse cultural projects and hold regional cultural responsibilities. Our primary funding comes from the Swedish Arts Council, Region Östergötland, and Linköping Municipality.
