The season for the Crusell series begins with a magnificent tribute to Ludwig van Beethoven!
The season starts with a magnificent concert and an exciting encounter between well-known classical music and entirely new tones. Östgöta Wind Symphony honors one of the greatest composers of all time, Ludwig van Beethoven, while also premiering Emmy Lindström’s Code Red. Under the direction of Sergej Bolkhovets and with trumpeter Filip Draglund as the soloist, a festive evening awaits in the Crusell Hall.
One of the concert’s major highlights is Ludwig van Beethoven’s seventh symphony. During the evening, you will experience how one of the great works of classical music fills the Crusell Hall and is shaped by the unique sound of the Östgöta Wind Symphony.
The concert also looks forward with the premiere of Code Red by Emmy Lindström. The work is publicly performed for the first time, which means that the audience in the Crusell Hall will be the first to experience it live.
The concert is suitable for those who like classical music, wind music, modern composers, and great orchestral experiences. It is also suitable for those who are curious about the Crusell series or want to try a classical concert for the first time. You don’t need to know the works or the participants in advance – it’s enough that you are curious about the music.
Feel free to bring a partner, friend, parent, an adult child, or a colleague and share the evening together. Of course, you are equally welcome to come on your own.
The concert is a special part of the Crusell series and also inaugurates the Swedish Wind Music Festival 2026. Welcome to the Crusell Hall for an evening where one of Beethoven’s most appreciated works meets newly written music by Emmy Lindström.

The bag ban no longer applies to Konsert & Kongress, Saab Arena, and Stångebrofältet.
However, we recommend bringing a smaller bag – preferably no larger than 40 x 40 x 20 cm – to facilitate entry and storage. Bags may be searched at the entrance.
