Black Larsson and the Workers

Free admission

Information at the organizer

Black Larsson and Knegarna is a band with roots in punk, prog, and 70s rock with influences like Clash, Hoola Bandoola, Nationalteatern, and Soundtrack of Our Lives.

They have just released their new vinyl album Växelfel i Tumba with songs that talk about what has happened since the 70s up until today and how all that collective which has been built up has been dismantled in favor of a Mecca of freedom of choice where the market economy rules. Where people are sorted out instead of being included, and empathy and humanity are outdated and out.

With energy and groove, they will play songs from the new album. They are an energetic and well-established live band with six people on stage and Blacken is known for his long monologues between songs when the others in the band usually go and play ping pong or have a beer at the bar. Blacken and the other members began playing in different bands around Norra Botkyrka in the 80s. Inferno, Tuk Tuk Rally, Oroliga Kalkoner, and Tre Vise Män were some of them.

In Blacken’s band Knegarna, Peter Lindqvist is on drums, Johan Samuelsson on bass, Anders Klöverbäck on guitar, harmonica, and backing vocals, Mattias Eriksson on guitar and backing vocals, and Janne Hedenmo on keyboard.

The performance starts at 19.00. If you plan to eat before the performance, please come well in advance. Vreta kloster bryggeri opens already at 17.00.
