World-famous Swedish producer, songwriter, and artist Björn Yttling is Bjorn in Peter, Bjorn & John – the group behind the global hit single “Young Folks” – with which he has toured the world for decades. He is also one half of the psych-pop duo Abstract Crimewave (together with Jocke Åhlund) and the front figure in Yttling Jazz, which earlier this year received a Grammis for “Jazz of the Year” for the album “Illegal Hit”.

Apart from success in his own projects, he has also been a co-writer and produced several of Lykke Li’s albums – including the debut – and collaborated with renowned artists such as Håkan Hellström, Franz Ferdinand, First Aid Kit, Robyn, Weezer, David Lynch, Anna Ternheim and many, many more.

In 2005, Björn, then under the name Yttling Jazz, released the debut album “Oh Lord Why Can’t I Keep My Big Mouth Shut”. It would take 20 years before the follow-up “Illegal Hit” (2025) arrived, and upon arrival, it was quickly warmly received by the Swedish press – including Dagens Nyheter, SVT and Lira Musikmagasin – and was awarded a Grammis. In November, he embarks on an extensive Sweden tour, which among other places takes him to the Östergötland Museum in Linköping on November 28.
