After over seven decades in the spotlight, including 30 years as theater director at Fredriksdalsteatern, Sweden’s queen of comedy refuses to slow down. Now Eva Rydberg embarks on an extensive farewell tour across Sweden with her new, sparkling show Rena Rama Rydberg. Together with eight melodious dancers and directed by Hans Marklund, she offers a musical laugh fest filled with immortal hits, musical numbers, and completely new revelations.
Eva Rydberg is one of the industry’s most versatile and beloved icons. At the age of eight, she took to the children’s theater and ballet stage at Malmö City Theater, and since then, she has entertained generations as an actress, singer, circus clown, comedian, and choreographer. When she now gathers her entire stage life in Rena Rama Rydberg, she does so with the same unbeatable energy and comedic precision that has become her hallmark. But those expecting a quiet retrospective should think again.
“They say you should slow down and start enjoying the calm when you turn 80, but that would be sheer madness! I have been on stage for 70 years and loved every second, but I still have far too much energy and ideas to sit still. In this show, I offer everything you recognize – and a lot of things you had no idea I could do!” says Eva Rydberg with a smile.
From musical successes to hidden dreams
The performance offers a fast-paced journey through Eva’s most beloved characters and songs. The audience will see and hear audience favorites such as “Rena Rama Ding Dong,” the Eurovision classic “Charlie Chaplin,” and “Den närsynta bofinken Knut,” interspersed with glittering show numbers from musicals like West Side Story, Sweet Charity, Annie, and Funny Girl.
But the show also contains a completely different dimension: all that Eva Rydberg has not yet managed. In a personal and surprising act, she opens the door to hidden talents, unbelievable anecdotes from life behind the scenes, and dreams that finally get to take the spotlight.
Star-studded production directed by Hans Marklund
For direction and choreography, none other than Hans Marklund, one of Sweden’s most renowned showbiz creators, is responsible. Together with a handpicked ensemble of eight professional singers and dancers, Eva’s stories are framed in grand dance and song numbers.
Rena Rama Rydberg is a warm, musical, and uproariously funny show for all who love classic entertainment at the highest level.

If there is no food to order, it is because the pre-order has closed. The order needs to be made no later than 1:00 PM, two working days before the event. After this, pre-ordering is closed. But there is an opportunity to buy a limited selection of food on-site before the event.

The bag ban no longer applies to Konsert & Kongress, Saab Arena, and Stångebrofältet.
However, we recommend bringing a smaller bag – preferably no larger than 40 x 40 x 20 cm – to facilitate entry and storage. Bags may be searched at the entrance.

Linköping Concert & Congress is centrally located in Linköping, a short walk from the Travel Center. You can easily and environmentally friendly get here by bus or commuter train, see www.ostgotatrafiken.se www.ostgotatrafiken.se for timetables. From many parts of the city, it is also within walking distance to us.
