Cyhra + Marys Creek at Platens Bar

Cyhra is a Swedish melodic metal band formed in 2017 by former members from In Flames and Amaranthe. With Jake E on vocals, Euge Valovirta and Marcus Sunesson on guitar, and Alexander Landenburg on drums, the band has established itself as one of the strongest names in modern melodic metal.

Since the debut Letters to Myself (2017), Cyhra has built an international audience with its unique expression where heavy riffs meet strong melodies and personal lyrics. The follow-up No Halos in Hell (2019) and the critically acclaimed The Vertigo Trigger (2023) have further strengthened the band’s position on the international metal scene.

Cyhra has extensively toured Europe, Asia, and North America, both as a headliner and together with bands like Sabaton, Evergrey, and Battle Beast. Particularly in Japan, the band has become a major audience favorite with several sold-out concerts and a strong impact. Jake E has also been awarded by Japan’s leading metal magazine Burrn! with awards for Best Singer and Best Songwriter. With powerful live performances, strong melodies, and a modern sound, Cyhra continues to push the boundaries of melodic metal and win new fans worldwide.

MarysCreek was formed in 2004 in Mjölby/Linköping by Mats Nilsson and Stefan Halldin with a common vision – to create melodic, guitar-driven hard rock with powerful choruses. The debut album Some Kind of Hate (2007) gave the band a strong impact and was followed by extensive tours around Europe together with bands like S.O.T.O, Takida, Evergrey, Uriah Heep, The Poodles, Bonfire, and Hardline.

In 2016, the acclaimed album Infinity was released via Escape Music, followed by several years of touring in Sweden and the rest of Europe. After setbacks, member changes, and the pandemic, MarysCreek is back stronger than ever. With Anton Wessman on drums and the long-time members Mats Nilsson, Jonas Hallberg, Roger Blomberg, and Alexander Eriksson, the band is now ready to release its third studio album in 2026 – a powerful continuation filled with melodic hard rock, strong songs, and the energy that has always characterized MarysCreek. MarysCreek 2026 – stronger, heavier, and more alive than ever.
