Grabbarna från Eken
The guys from Eken are the youthful ensemble, with a heart for older Swedish and Irish folk music.
The band is on a constant tour and has played, among others, for the Taubesällskapet, Olle Adolphsonssällskapet, and Visans vänner, as well as at festivals, cultural centers, community centers, churches, music in schools, and elderly care. In 2022, they released their debut album “Grabbarna från Eken tolkar Bellman” which was praised by critics. On May 23, the third album “Grabbarna från Eken tolkar Olle Adolphson” was released.
The audience usually talks about an energetic and sparkling musical experience, where one is thrown between seriousness and humor. This evening the group plays as a duo. Kim Persson – vocals, mandola, flutes Tommy Lundgren – violin
The performance starts at 19.00, but Vreta kloster brewery opens as early as 15.00. Free seating. Come in good time. Food, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic alternatives are served.
