John Doe presents: The Crescents

Crescenterna are Sweden’s new rising stars on the indie rock scene.

With a unique blend of energetic indie rock, melodic pop, and grand arrangements, the band has quickly risen as one of the most promising names. Crescenterna play music that makes you burn bridges, build new ones – and burn them down again. It’s the justification for existence: mess up, never go home. The band consists of Melker Lindh Ewertson, Nonni Ardal, Teodor Fromell, Malte Myrenberg Gårdinger, Olof Sjöberg, and Bob Klingspor-Mattsson. After the debut album Stockholm City Sönder, a tribute and lament to youth and their hometown Stockholm, Crescenterna continue to expand their musical universe. The band is now current with the new Hjärtat EP; an intense and emotionally charged release where Crescenterna take their expression even further. With greater contrasts, stronger melodies, and lyrics that move between desperation, euphoria, and reconciliation, the EP showcases a band that refuses to stand still. Additionally, Markus Krunegård guests on one of the songs, further cementing Crescenterna’s place as one of the most exciting bands in the Swedish indie wave.
