Jousting at Ekenäs Castle

It is an honor and a pleasure to invite you and the whole family to this year’s edition of Ekenäs Riddarspel. One of Sweden’s oldest and largest medieval events!

All weekend’s activities take place in the grand setting around one of the mightiest 17th-century castles we have left in the country.

See the Arbogariddarna in an impressive show that will make you both amazed and rejoice. An experience beyond the ordinary! All framed by the beautiful castle, the bustling medieval market, and the Carnis medieval village.

Bring the whole family on a time travel and experience what it is like to live in the medieval times by visiting our historical craft market and our medieval village Carnis where you can try period-typical activities such as spear drill (for children), forging, coin minting, and much more.

Saturday, May 16 opens at 10:00, jousting at 12:00 and 16:00, closes at 18:00

Sunday, May 17 opens at 10:00, jousting at 14:00, closes at 16:00

Children 0-2 years: Free
Children 3-15 years: 90 kronor, 45 kronor for those dressed in historical clothing!
Adults: 170 kronor
