Walpurgis Night celebration at Tannefors locks

Welcome to celebrate the spring at Tannefors locks.

For the 31st consecutive year, there will be a traditional celebration with Walpurgis bonfire, choir singing, music, speeches, and storytelling for the children.

Program:
18.30 The kick-off for the celebration!
Raffle, chocolate wheel, sausages and “kolbullar” open.
19.00 Inauguration of the Children’s tree
19.30 Storytelling
The lock troll reads stories for children up to 6 years old
19.45 Singing performance
Disa Bäck, artist and actor, opens the stage program.
20.15 Concert
The Orchestra Alla Breve plays.
20.45 Choir singing
The Academic Choir sings in the spring.
21.00 Walpurgis bonfire with spring speech
Christer Kustvik, editor-in-chief of Corren, gives a speech to the spring.
The Walpurgis bonfire is lit by Linköping Canoe Club and the Academic Choir concludes with additional spring songs.
