Walpurgis Night celebration at Tannefors locks

Welcome to celebrate the arrival of spring at Tannefors locks.

For the 31st year in a row, there will be a traditional celebration with a Walpurgis Night bonfire, choir singing, music, speeches, and a story time for the children.

Program:
18.30 Start of the celebration!
Lottery, chocolate wheel, sausages, and “kolbullar” open.
19.00 Inauguration of the Children’s tree
19.30 Story time
The lock troll reads stories for children up to 6 years old
19.45 Singing performance
Alexandra Pettersson begins the stage program
20.15 Concert
The band Alla Breve plays.
20.45 Choir singing
The Academic choir sings in the spring.
21.00 Walpurgis Night bonfire with a spring speech
Christer Kustvik, editor-in-chief at Corren, gives a speech to the spring.
The Walpurgis Night bonfire is lit by Linköping’s Canoe Club and the Academic choir finishes with additional spring songs.
