Rent a bike at Bergs locks or in Borensberg and enjoy a ride along the beautiful towpath of Göta canal! You can leave the bikes at the respective depot regardless of where you rented. You can use the bikes during the depot’s regular opening hours.
Enjoy the stretch Berg-Borensberg round trip, a perfectly suitable day trip of about 42 km, where you travel along the canal bank. You can also just bike one stretch, about 21 km.
You will find beautiful natural views and a few watering holes to recharge. Whether you have a picnic with you or want to sit down at a café table.
The stretch is easy to bike, on a gravel road, with almost no hills and gravel surface. Here you can also encounter the canal company’s sheep working as nature caretakers/lawn mowers.
