The operation is currently paused as the construction of the future Fenomenmagasinet is underway. A new and specially built house is planned to be ready for inauguration in May 2026.
The future Fenomenmagasinet is located at Valla gård, the rural part of the open-air museum Gamla Linköping, near Lill-Valla playground and Linköping University.
Fenomenmagasinet is a regional science center, a meeting place for people regardless of who they are, where they come from, or their level of education. Here you can experience a familial, pleasant, and inspiring environment that is permeated by learning, playfulness, curiosity, and creativity. Every year, around 100,000 people visit Fenomenmagasinet, both the general public and school groups.
The Fenomen exhibition consists of over 200 experience stations, as well as an animal section with, among other things, saltwater fish, corals, reptiles, frogs, and critters.
